Five productions originally produced by Abingdon transferred to Off-Broadway runs: Texas Homos, Dance with Me, Private Battles, Zona (The Ghost of the Greenbrier), and Teddy Tonight!

In 2001, established the Christopher Brian Wolk Award to honor the best play submitted each season. Abingdon presents a Staged Reading of the play at a special ceremony where we honor the playwright and award him/her a $1,000 prize. Frank Tangredi's play Pastoral was optioned by a commercial producer after winning the Christopher Brian Wolk Award in 2008.
