Internships

Abingdon is seeking enthusiastic individuals for great internships in:

Administration:
Assist with marketing, fundraising, and general office duties, database maintenance, mailings, grant and marketing research.

Casting:
Schedule auditions with actors/agents, coordinate auditions with EPA monitor, maintain casting file, set sides for actors.

Literary:
Evaluate scripts, assist with dramaturgical research, assist with First and Staged Readings, administrative functions as necessary. Interest in dramaturgy a plus.

Production/Facilities Management:
Assist with labor during builds, act as ASM/run crew during performance periods. Driving a plus. Assist with production administration during non-performance times. Flexible schedule preferred. (Not available in the summer.)

Box Office/House Management:
During performance periods (evening): Assist Box Office Manager at ticket window with patron reservations, shadow/assist House Manager. During non-performance periods (daytime): maintenance of usher schedule, monitor mailing list and database entry, update signage, and general office duties as necessary. (Not available in the summer.)

Requirements:
At least 20 hours per week, with a minimum three-month residency. Computer literacy required. Stipend: $50 weekly.
