The Whittlesby siblings meet for Columbus Day weekend at The Chandlery, their Maine coast summer home. The rising cost of their elder parents' healthcare points to selling the Chandlery. This in turn, stokes the fires of the secrets, jealousies, hostilities and agendas between the three brothers and their sister. The fate of The Chandlery and the Whittlesby clan is decided at a knife wielding show down at a lobster dinner.

by John Green

Thomas - a passionate, young born-again Christian deeply in love with his fiancé - desperately seeks answers to the growing conflict between his religion and his own emerging sense of self. He looks for guidance from Pastor Bob, a charismatic preacher, and Peter, a brilliant professor of Comparative Religions, but they only add to his spiritual dilemma. In the end, Thomas is forced to face the hardest decision of his life alone.
