About the Team
Jonathan D’Agostino (Book, Music, Lyrics) is an award-winning songwriter, music publisher, and producer whose work has achieved chart-topping success worldwide. As Founder and President of Demolition Music Publishing, he has built a distinguished career developing original music and stories across multiple platforms. In recent years, Jon has turned his creative focus to musical theatre and is currently developing four original musicals. His most personal project, Every Wednesday Night, began as a single song and evolved into a new musical exploring community, connection, and the transformative power of music. The musical has already had a series of successful industry readings and workshops. In addition to his work in the arts, Jon is the Founder and President of D’Agostino & Associates, a law firm that has served clients throughout New York, New Jersey, and Tennessee for more than three decades. His lifelong commitment to storytelling, entrepreneurship, and family continues to inform both his creative and professional endeavors.
Michael August (Music, Lyrics) is a Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and creative executive originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Following a decade with Demolition Music Publishing—where he serves as both staff writer and General Manager—August established himself as a respected voice in the music industry, earning a #1 hit song and placements across television and film, including American Idol, Shameless, Good Trouble, The Kardashians, and Selling Sunset. Every Wednesday Night marks August's debut musical theater venture as both writer and producer.
